We know history happened, but we usually don’t get the chance to watch it unfold as a visceral experience, with real flesh and blood people. Movies give us the chance to “walk around” and observe what history actually looked and sounded like.

I like to spend my time walking around the real-life places where those moments of Hollywood history happened, and filling in the blanks of who exactly made our favorite films!

 

At its heart, film is about humanity. How we relate to each other and the stories we live out. Film provides a bridge across generations, and a reminder that people in the past felt deeply just like we do. These are my family’s adventures as we try to connect to the people and places who grace our screens.
